One thing more on the soya beans, if you crack them open they are white/slightly yellow on the inside. Here is a picture of my bag/brand, and the beans with a few cut open so you see:

yesterday was day 3 of a gout attack, mild compared to my last one 1.5 years ago. I read the BBB info to a pt, then ran to grocery store and picked up black beans (negro frijoles)…then came home, cooked them up and drank about 16oz. of broth.

Then I read rest of posts, and realized – whoops, I need black soya beans. So pitched the rest of 1st batch.

So off this morning to the various Asaian stores, 3rd one I find korean black soja beans :-). Came home and made up a batch, drinking it now.

Been doing UASure tests morn, noon & night last three days. Morning reading was 5.6, lunch 7.0….will be interesting to see the next 6+ readings while doing BBB next few days.

Btw – this BBB with Soya tastes WAY better than the negro frijoles version which tasted VERY earthy, and left me very parched. Don't mind this one at all.
