    Hi Guys,

    ?

Another quick question, which I couldnt find posted anywhere else on this site, I know common sense its bad to have tattoo's done when on NSAIDs as they stop clotting and would make you bleed like a stuck pig when getting a tattoo.? My question is does anyone know if its okay to get tattooed when on colchicine, mainly because I know colchicine does not affect the body in the same way as an NSAID.

    ?

I have alot of tattoo work on my arm 32 hours work and need another 8 hours to have it finished, however currently taking a small dose of colchicine while settling a 3 week old attack, really keen to get the arm finished but dont want to a) cause the attack to rear its ugly head b) had a bad interaction with the colchicine.

    ?

    any advice really apprciated.

Colchicine may reduce white blood cells that can increase the risk of infection. You may need a CBC to determine if the number of white cells is normal.
